Due to the development and improvement of the business and distribution, there is an opening for an Area Manager position covering Ukraine. PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

The purpose of the role is to build up an efficient sales/distribution system and increase the target results, manage country-wide distribution of the whole company portfolio in Ukraine, building strong presence on the market.

The Area Manager Ukraine will be in charge of increasing on- and off-trade distribution, setting up special local PR / promotion events, implementing motivational programs for distributors and respected sales forces, implementing and supervising the training of distributor sales staff and where necessary wholesalers’ sales executives.

 

KEY FUNCTIONS

  • Organize and manage distribution
  • Set annual distribution increase targets
  • Knowledge of the environment, select targets, keep informed of openings and promotions/events, qualitative distribution and prominent product display (Listing menu; Displays / POS; Assorted promotions; Correct pricing)
  • Manage PR/marketing/promotion annual plan
  • In co-ordination with local distributors and partners, or in response to a request from an establishment or venue, setting up special events to increase sales
  • Setting up activation events/tools in co-ordination with distributor designed to increase rotations
  • In cooperation with HQ create motivational programs for distributors' sales forces
  • Engage distributors' sales forces to participate in the programs
  • Assess efficiency of the programs regarding sales increase
 

THE CANDIDATE

You will probably be aged between 28 and 45, have a relevant University degree, and proven track record in sales and development management (spirits/luxury sector preferably), as well as experience in managing local distribution. In order to be successful in the role, you must have a well developed commercial acumen, result-driven, exceptional presentation, communication and consultative selling skills, demonstrate excellent interpersonal, organizational and analytical skills, strong team player combined with entrepreneurial and management skills, ability to effectively operate with high energy and flexibility in a fast-paced, constantly evolving, team environment, strong knowledge of financial side of business, be decisive and possess a sense of urgency to meet deadlines, problem solver.
