Our Client is a well known international manufacturer of engineering products. The Company is a market leader with most of its products in a number of markets including Ukraine. The company has started recently developing in Ukraine their business operation and due to this fact there is an opening for a candidate who comes from accounting, who will develop further in controlling sphere. Taking in to account that the company is almost at a start up situation, this person will be involved in reporting and analyses, potentially installation of ERP system - SAP, etc.

The role of this position is to participate in ensuring the provision of effective and efficient services in the areas of Accounting, Local and International reporting. Professional input will be expected in at the beginning in accounting, therefore strong knowledge of Statutory financial and tax reporting is important. The company is planning to grow this role in to controlling.

You will be a Ukrainian National with university degree, possess several years of Ukrainian TAX and accounting experience within a blue chip environment. Candidates who are coming from auditing are welcome as well; important to have a good understanding of audit trail, verification, what is controlling, etc. Knowledge of Ukrainian standards is a must and GAAP/IFRS exposure is a plus. These opportunities are open for ambitious people and team players who can perform independently and within a team. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are pre-requisite for operating in a multi-national environment, with excellent English skills, drive, and ambition to grow with the company are essential.
