POSITION NAME: Business Development Manager, B2B sales

THE COMPANY

Our client is the world's largest tire company, with operations in most regions of the world. The company manufactures its products in more than 100 facilities in 29 countries.

Due to the market expansion in Ukraine , the company is launching a new tires line related to Industrial trucks/machines on this market and as a result, there is an opening for a Business Development manager/ Sales Manager role within a new division - Industrial tires, who will be starting developing the Ukrainian market and developing these brands in Ukraine .
 

POSITION TARGET

This is a new product line for the Ukrainian market. The person will have to create and develop sales & distribution strategy for Industrial tires on Ukraine replacement and O.E. market in order to achieve required business goals in terms of volume, SOM, GM & EBIT.

 

DUTIES OF THE POSITION:

  • Create & perform sales & distribution strategy (commercial policy) for all distribution channels.
  • Cooperate & contact (visits) key customers (negotiation of commercial conditions)
  • Develop distribution channels (current & future)
  • Monitor sales profitability
  • Cooperate with other departments in order to deliver the best sales & after sales service for our customers.
  • Preparation of company business planning process (AOP), report sales estimates (GSF), analyzing data from market.
 

OTHER INFORMATION

  • The person in this position will interact mainly with customers as well as with company managers. Therefore the individuals must possess authority & high level of confidentiality & integrity together with high level of competence & knowledge about tire industry and surroundings business.
  • The person in this position need to know how to predict threats and how to avoid them. Must know how to assess risk and on the other hand must know how to utilize all market chances.
  • The individual in this position is responsible for decisions related with company commercial policy, what have direct influence on company profitability.
  • The person in this position will always act on very competitive field – sales, under the strong pressure of competitors, customers as well as company Board of Directors. Hence he must be resistant to stress, be persistent & highly motivated.
 

THE CANDIDATE

  • You must be a person who loves to sell and achieve goals;
  • Prior experience (up to 3 years) in an international competitive, FMCG or B2C/B2B sales environment is highly preferred;
  • Good knowledge of and exposure to technical/ automotive industry;
  • Ability to establish and maintain excellent business relationships with customers;
  • An open type of person, who wants to grow, looks out of the "square", and not afraid of hard work, mobile in terms of traveling;
  • Strong team player combined with entrepreneurial skills;
  • Exceptional qualifications from a leading institution or University;
  • Excellent PC skills and fluent knowledge of English is important, since you will be working closely with colleagues in USA and Belgium.

  • Experience in managing sales at the macro or country level.
  • Experience in leading and managing sales teams (field & territory management).
  • High level of negotiation skills.
  • Experience in building long-term business relations with customers.
  • Experience in Key Accounting & distribution channels management.
  • Know-how & experience in problem solving.
  • High level of analytical skills.
  • Experience in change management.
  • English skills in writing & speaking at advanced level.
